Any pump is only as good as the material it is made from and SAM standards can accept, only castings from their own foundry. SAM has captive foundry producing S'astings of 450 MT/month. SAM has spectrovac and the alloying is adjusted to stringent metallurgical specifications to ensure precise chemical composition.
